Few years when no one was aware of the outsourcing services, the companies used to manage all their work on their own. Moreover, they hire the skilled resources to do some kind of work, or the those companies which were unable to afford the cost of hiring some skilled resource, try to engage the resources who had some kind of relation with the work that needs be done to finish it on time.
And in the process, the companies used to waste their huge amount of time and efforts in doing the work, which is not their cup of tea. After the emergence of outsourced services, the small and mid-sized companies got much relaxation, as now the companies are not bound to hire full time employees for doing part time work. All they do is contact the third party service providers and finish their work. And in the process, they neither engage any of their employees to do the work which is not their KRA nor waste their valuable efforts.
At present the third party service providers have acquired a big market with their quality and innovative services. Now, you can see, in small, mid or large companies most of the work remains outsourced. And they outsource almost all kinds of work; either it’s about cleaning the office area, corporate restructuring advisory, customer support or anything else.
Now, the question comes here is, is the outsourcing a permanent solution for companies? The answer to this question is ‘yes’. Outsourcing can be a permanent solution. Though, it is also a truth that a single company cannot become the permanent outsourced company for any client, but yes the services can remain for permanent. Taken for example, if a company outsource the company secretary service, and decided to get the work done on contract basis only for an unlimited time period, then it can take this service from the external resources. But, it is not compulsory that it will avail the service for the entire tenure from the same service provider. The company can change the service provider according to its budget, requirement and project type.
However, it is important to note that, when any company is outsourced for any kind of work, its work experience, the efficiency of employees and its ability to handle the project should be checked in advance. So, that the company does not have to face any kind of disappointment; with regards to work after the project is handover to them.
